A logo redesign, favicon design, and graphics were created for three podcast tiles.
I met with the COO of The Growth Equation to get a sense of what this project was going to be about, then followed up with the creative team. The project had an external deadline that necessitated a tight turnaround of 3.5 weeks.
This case study of the process traces the logo design journey that led to the final product. This project was happening in tandem with the favicon design and the podcast tile creation.
First I created a mind map to link together different concepts related to the brand identity and the associations that follow from those concepts.
I worked to represent these concepts visually, seeking to incorporate the established brand visuals of The Growth Equation.
I digitized the strongest of the logo concepts, keeping in mind the goals of the rebrand.
After meeting with the creative team, we refined two primary directions and continued iteration.
From there the established palette was incorporated into the designs.
And a final direction was chosen.
